The Conference fee includes entry to all events as outlined on the conference registration web page unless otherwise specified. The fee does not include accommodation, non-program related meals, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by participants.
Registration fees are due and payable at the time of registration.
If you are paying by cheque, you are not considered registered until full payment is received. Prices quoted exclude applicable taxes which are added at the current rate. Advance registration rates must be paid in full by 5:00pm EST October 18, 2019, or the on-site registration rate will apply.
Fees are determined by the level of membership in CanWEA in effect at the time of registration and will not be retroactively adjusted for any future change in membership status.
All requests for refunds must be submitted to Dana Hijazi, Registration Coordinator, at the Conference Secretariat in writing by fax (613-565-2173) or by e-mail ([email protected]). Registration fees are not transferable to any other CanWEA event. Requests received by September 26, 2019 receive a full refund less a 25% administrative fee per person. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after September 26, 2019 or for no-shows.
Substitutions will be processed on a complimentary basis. Substitution must be done in writing by email and sent by October 18, 2019. Simply email the full contact information for the new attendee along with the name of the attendee they are replacing to [email protected] Substitutions will not be accepted onsite.
In the unlikely event that CanWEA is forced to change the location of the Conference, every effort will be made to give participants as much advance notice as possible. If the participant is unable to attend the Conference at the revised location, CanWEA will refund 100% of any prepaid Conference fee upon written request. However, CanWEA will not be liable for any other costs incurred including (for example) travel charges or any consequential damages.
CanWEA reserves the right to make alterations to the content, speakers, timing, venue or date of the Conference compared to the advertised program.
Information provided to CanWEA (via Golden Planners Inc) through the event registration form may be used to contact you with further details on this event when necessary. The information is published in the event “delegate list” that is circulated to all event attendees with the proceedings and is added to the CanWEA database in order to send you notices, from time to time, describing other association events. You may choose to opt out of being listed on the “delegate list” and/or into the CanWEA database during the online registration process.
CanWEA reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant, by refunding the fee, or, a proportionate amount if admission is refused partway through the Conference.
These terms and conditions set out in the rules and regulations above represent a complete statement of the agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, correspondence and representations. Our brochures and advertisements are for information purposes only and are not intended to form any agreement between CanWEA and the recipient. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and changes will apply to any enrollment/Conference order received after the date of the change. These terms and conditions may not be varied except in a written agreement signed by an officer of CanWEA. CanWEA’s (or Golden Planners Inc’s) acceptance of a purchase order containing different terms and conditions does not modify or supersede these terms and conditions. This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
CanWEA may take photographs and record video at the CanWEA 2014 Conference and Exhibition and may use them in CanWEA news or promotional materials whether in print, electronic format or other media, including the CanWEA website. By participating in the CanWEA 2014 Conference and Exhibition, you grant CanWEA the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.
Business casual is the attire all conference events.
If you need special accommodations or have specific dietary needs or allergies, please indicate those items when you register on-line. All catered functions will provide vegetarian options.

Any CanWEA 2014 Attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, in another company’s booth, or in violation of any portion of the Exhibition or No Suitcasing Policy, will be asked to leave immediately and subject to the following penalties: • Closure Of Your Booth • No Refund Of Your Conference Pass(es) • Exclusion From Future CanWEA Events
